yummy dinner

I stir-fried red bell pepper, garlic, scallions, mushrooms and bean sprouts with some garlic-black bean sauce and wide rice noodles. Very, very tasty. I also had a major craving for some egg rolls and I had the cabbage, carrots, scallions and sprouts already so I grabbed some wrappers and five spice at the store and cooked some up. It was the first time I had deep fried anything in about four years. We enjoyed the rolls quite a bit and it was worth the trouble and stink of frying.

Yay for a yummy dinner. Yay for actually being able to cook and ingest and digest my dinner!

drug cost obnoxiousness

The doc prescribed me Zofran for nausea and vomitting. This is good and it seems to be working a lot better than the Reglan with fewer side effects.

However, it $2.22 a pill. And I am supposed to take three a day. Ouch!

Now, I am happy to pay for some relief, but that is one expensive drug. There would have been times in the past that close to $50 a week for a drug would have been impossible for me to finance and I sure it is for many people. Sucks that the drug that works the best is charged a premium.
