Photo of the day: Lighthouse View. Shot this while touring Point Pinos lighthouse with S. when we were visiting the Monterey area late last December. S. loved the lighthouse and it was fun being inside. Views outside were gorgeous and it was fun being in relatively dark little rooms and looking out onto a view like this.

Nice! As you must know, I adore lighthouses. I'm starting to make a plan for seeing some lighthouses up on the Mendocino coast this summer.
