Photo of the day: Big/Small. Shot this in February of 2012 while I was in the backyard hanging out with the kids. S. loves ladybugs and let this one crawl around on his hand. I had the camera with the 50mm macro lens on it outside with us and got this. I am still dithering about the crop but wanted to post it anyhow.

Photo of the day: Lighthouse View. Shot this while touring Point Pinos lighthouse with S. when we were visiting the Monterey area late last December. S. loved the lighthouse and it was fun being inside. Views outside were gorgeous and it was fun being in relatively dark little rooms and looking out onto a view like this.
