The Book...it is out!

cassidyroseAmazon ended up releasing "Hot&Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love, and Fashion a month ahead of schedule which made a lot of folks REALLY happy. I got my copies from the publisher this week.
It is exciting and feels a bit scary. There is a book launch party on November 8th at The Booksmith in San Francisco and I will be reading an excerpt from my piece there. Today I was also booked into two more readings in the Bay Area (another in November and then in February)....more info as I know it.
It is weird how fast this happened...it was a little over a year from conception to printed book. Amazing. MAJOR props to Virgie (our editor) for making this happen and to Seal Press for believing in it and giving the book its due.
