Yep, I believe Dante wanted to make it the 10 level of Hell but just thought it was too inhumane!
So sorry for all of you. One of my nephews was colicky and practically drove my sister crazy. It didn't help that she had a husband who worked 12 hours a day and just wanted dinner, tv and to sleep when he came home. One of the things she use to do was move a chair into the shower and take a long warm shower with him. He usually stopped crying within a few minutes, but would start again if she turned off the water too soon. She drained more than one water tank on bad days. They looked like Mama and Baby Prune.
