drug cost obnoxiousness

cassidyroseThe doc prescribed me Zofran for nausea and vomitting. This is good and it seems to be working a lot better than the Reglan with fewer side effects.
However, it $2.22 a pill. And I am supposed to take three a day. Ouch!
Now, I am happy to pay for some relief, but that is one expensive drug. There would have been times in the past that close to $50 a week for a drug would have been impossible for me to finance and I sure it is for many people. Sucks that the drug that works the best is charged a premium.
