Photo of the week for 03/08/14: Abandoned. Driving along highway 140 into Yosemite means driving for quite some time through not much of anything. Hills, cows, grass, trees, rocks, raptors, but not much else. Every now and then there are these fascinating abandoned buildings that just pop up, seemingly out of nowhere. They are fascinating as it is hard to imagine what they were and why they were. I shot this out the car window (Peter was driving) on our way to Yosemite in February.

weekend busy times

Busy sweaty rehearsal Saturday, Texas Rose Dance that night, three sets of tennis with my friend Joe Sunday morning, park play with Peter and the kids later Sunday morning, and two hours of swimming with the kids at open rec swim Sunday afternoon. I was tired and sore during my walk and bike ride today. Losing the hour did not help either. Super fun weekend, but I am BEAT.
