One year ago we were home with our doula trying to get better, stronger contractions started. My water had been broken for nearly six hours, I was leaking amniotic fluid intermittently and had completely given up on the prospect of dry pants. We were still a good twenty hours from the the babe making his appearance.

In twenty hours and some change our baby turns one.

It has been one hell of year.
