Peter and I spent some time in Half Moon Bay at the state beach on New Year's Day. We were walking along the trail back to the parking lot a bit after sunset and we heard rustling in the bushes. We could barely see what was there, but I grabbed a picture of it. It was this tiny brush rabbit. I had to shoot this at 1/8 handheld, with my ISO bumped way up, so it is not the sharpest, but it is not bad and I like that I got anything at all, plus this rabbit is super-cute!
