I love that when I leave the house the kittens run to the front window to watch me leave and are often waiting there when I return. They spend a lot of time watching the neighborhood from their post, people walking their dogs, people just walking, the garbage being collected, the mail being delivered, kids playing basketball, kids riding bikes, crows being crows, squirrels being squirrels, the wind, etc. They have a lot to occupy their little cat-brains.

In other news, a couple of weeks ago I was taking a walk and walked under the pine tree that is across the street from our house and either the resident crows or squirrels threw rocks on my head. No lie. I am betting it was the crows. They are a cranky bunch.
