Winter vacation

Our winter in Yosemite dreams are coming true as we will be visiting for a few days in a couple of weeks. The lack of much snow this year means it is more feasible for us to go and S. is really excited about the prospect of seeing *some* snow, *somewhere*, which may happen. I am just excited that we are going. Highs in the mid-40's in the valley currently so it will at least feel like winter-ish. Also? Hotels in Oakhurst in February are quite inexpensive.

We acquired chains for the car today and sized the kids for hiking boots. Getting ready, bit by bit.

Oh, and an added bonus: The Ansel Adams gallery is having a special exhibit right now dedicated exclusively to Adams' work. Yay!
