random irritants
Jun. 24th, 2002 04:55 pmJust because I can I thought I'd rattle off some things that have been bothering me of late.
- Unreasonable requests. Lack of planning on your part does not constitue an emergency on my part. If something is so damned important you should have asked me sooner or figured out how to handle the situation yourself. And if you are going to make an unreasonable request, at least ask nicely
- Irritating cell phone rings. 'nuff said
- Cell phones left on, unattended, in the office so they ring incessantly for everyone but the owner to hear.
- Cashiers who ring up my order incorrectly and argue with me about the price without even looking at the receipt. I know how to add, thankyouverymuch, and tax does not explain a 30% discreancy
- Overuse of "lol" in email or on lj. Drives me bananas.
- Inattention to detail when and where details matter.
- Banks' ridiculous overdraft fees.
- People who call repeatedly and don't leave messages.
