Sunday ride

Went to Coyote Hills this afternoon to ride our bikes/look at things. Ended up spending three hours out there riding, walking, watching the birds, smelling the super-stinky salt ponds, and resting and having snacks. Peter rode his regular bike and his cyclometer clocked him at 5.3 miles which is what he and L did (L. on his little pedal-less Strider). S. and I did more as we rode out and back to them a few times, so I am guessing S. and I rode more like 6.5 miles. I won't lie...I am sore. We had a very nice day though.

We also saw the smoke in the distance of the Mt. Diablo fire but did not realize what it was until we later saw news of the fire.
