Photo of the day for today: Artful Pigeon. I shot this at Ardenwood last August when I was out there with the kids one day We picked blackberries that day, which mostly means I get my hands torn up while the kids point out berries for me to pick for them and we all end up stained with berry juice. I can tell by the other pictures from this day that it was hot out there. Anyhow, this pigeon was flying overhead around the pig pens and the original shot is terrible...just blurred and bland. I took it down to this grey/brown and white and cropped it and fussed with a few other things and it turned into a photo that I am really enjoying.
