cassidyrosePhoto of the Day for today: Leafy Sea Dragon at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I have been captivated by sea dragons ever since I first saw them/learned of their existence twelve years ago when Michael and saw them in the Tampa Bay Aquarium while on vacation in Florida. They are simply amazing. The seahorse exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium has a number of them and I love to wach them and to attempt to photograph them. Photographing anything in the aquarium is a challenge as it is dark and you are shooting through glass which creates focus issues, reflection issues, and glare issues. It can be frustrating. That said, I am pretty happy with this shot, which I captured when we were there on New Year's Eve this past year.
