Birthday fun

We had a great time at the aquarium yesterday and I bought a membership because even if we go only once more in the coming year it save us money, so yay for return visits. The kids could have watched the sharks, turtles, tunas, and other large fish in the huge tanks all day. I probably could have as well. We saw otters in the bay and I absolutely loved the seahorse exhibit. And we saw baby seahorses! Sea dragons may be one of my most favorite animals on the planet. And despite his best efforts, we did not lose L. at the aquarium. The Lego store was the ultimate birthday outing for S. and he purchased himself a 770 piece Lord of the Rings kit with birthday money from his grandfather. He stared at the box all through dinner and has been busy building it since. It is positively resplendent.
