cassidyroseTwo years ago, at this moment, I was in hour two of the four hour wait for L. to turn himself inside me and descend for pushing. I was already fully dilated and we were doing a passive descent which means, well, we wait. I, unfortunately, had to lie flat on my back for the descent as that was the position he was tolerating best (cord-related heart-rate issues).
At around 4:30am I started pushing and right around 6:30 he had been delivered, our sweet baby.
Today he turns two and I turn thirty-seven. So many things to say and think about it all, but for now I am just remembering that night in the hospital and marveling and what an amazing little person he is now.
