small accomplishments

I finally transplanted the flowers I got on Sunday into their new homes. I got marigolds, dahlias, and gazinas. They all look quite lovely. I also have a window-box inside going with sweet basil, opal, basil, and lime thyme. Yum!!! I got catzen a catmint plant that I still need to transplant and my oregeno plant needs transplanting (I ran out of dirt last night).

In other news, catzen has successfully set up the new/used imac we were donated(thanks captivatinglove!) downstairs--the other computers are upstairs in the offics. We now have a 2:1 computer to human ratio in our household. catzen is not all that pleased that the ethernet cable is bright yellow, but I think it adds a bit of geek charm, snaking through the house ;-P

The house is remaining somewhat clean and put together and this is a good thing.

I am teaching my first dance class on Sunday at Big Moves' Day of Dance. I am not all that nervous, which is a good thing.

It was not my intention to slight you or anyone else who may have been involved. This was mostly catzen's deal and all I knew about it was that it came from captivatinglove. I know we had thanked you in person for helping to arrange this, and I do believe you know that we are grateful for everything you have done for us. I'm sorry if you were offended.

Well..., since the ethernet cabling is snaking down the wall smack dab in the visual center of the living area (when one walks in) like an ill-begotten worm, I think it's just as well that it's bright yellow. That makes it almost seem on purpose; and I agree that it is -- in its own way -- somewhat charming.
