Today was super-mega-shopping day. Trips to both Trader Joe's and Raley's ensued. We were actually out of things like black peppercorns (the horror!) and celery. That is almost as bad as running out of onions. Encountered shopping fail at Raley's as it appears they no longer carry millet or whole wheat pastry flour, both of which I needed. Where else am I going to get millet? Berkeley Bowl surely carries it. S. spotted a Golden Delicious apple in the produce section and had to have it. He had one at the farm on Johnny Appleseed day and became a fan. He also loves Red Delicious apples (also courtesy of the apple tasting at the farm) which I generally dislike, but he is happy to eat them so I will keep buying them.

And that was most our day. Shopping, cleaning, cooking, eating, and feeding the baby got me to this hour and I am ready for bed.
