We just had to throw out close to $100 worth of food we had in our big freezer because, apparently, sometime this weekend (we are thinking Saturday night) S. turned the freezer off.

Damn.

I am pissed off because we have now wasted so much food and pissed because he has been told 500 times not to touch the dial on the freezer.

Not a good way to start the morning.

Now you have one of those family stories that will be passed down to S's kids - they'll sit on grandma or grandpa's knee and beg you to tell about the time their daddy ruined all that food. At least you didn't have to bury the "freezer victims" in your backyard!

Yes, so, so glad this was not a burying issue. I still remember that horrible smell.
