I am reminding myself that it always looks worse before it looks better.

I am excavating cleaning a couple of corners of the kitchen where random stuff has stacked up and been stored. Holy crap!!! It is actually not a lot of stuff, juts a lot of piddly things like papers that have to be sorted, etc. and right now it looks like a small tornado swept through the dining area.

::sigh::

Now I have to finish the task.

S. has been blessedly entertaining himself, though I may be sorry about that later when I view the living room damage. I did let him play with the "robot" (wet vac) which pleased him greatly.
