quickie update

S. is still sick. Went to the doctor today and determined that his lungs and throat and ears are fine, so his is probably just a viral thing. If his fever comes back we do have to go back though for chest x-rays and such.

Peter had a five-hour in person interview today at one of the companies where he is in the running for a job. It went well and we are keeping our fingers crossed.

I made a disappointing stir-fry tonight. Things just didn't work well and the green beans were of poor quality which kind of ruined it. I was bothered enough by it to bake to make up for it and now we have brownies.

I've been really, really tired and not very productive the past few days. The sick kid is wearing me out (as did the travel).

I am happy we are getting rain because we really, really need it, but I hate it otherwise. It depresses me and makes me want to crawl in a hole.

Poor S and family. I'm on the tail end of a cruddy cold - over 2 weeks now.

Crossing all appropriate appendages for good news on the job interview.

Thank you. I am thinking of you and your family a lot. I am so sorry things have been so shitty and I hope they improve soon.

It seems a lot of people are sick now. The doctor's office was full of hacking, wheezing kids.
