Phish is doing a ten-show run in June. I got really, really excited as they have been retired/on hiatus as a band since 2004. My hopes were then dashed when I realized all ten shows are happening west of the Mississippi (except for the St. Louis, MO show, but that is close enough to count). ::sigh:: If I didn't have a child and child-related expenses I would be finagling a way out east this summer for a show or three. I remain hopeful, however, that they will continue touring after June and will make it out here and that I will get tickets to see them. I have not seen them since 2000. Yikes. I ordered three new Live Phish cds this week and got one in the mail today--the one I got was used and from an independent dealer, and the other two are on backorder through Amazzon. I ordered another last month and got it here quickly and am happy with it (it is a Halloween show when Phish covered the entire White Album, in addition to their own music. I am waiting on the Halloween shows when they covered all of Quadrophenia and all of Remain in Light.

Anyhow, I am excited to get the Halloween shows and am remaining hopeful that some real live live Phish is in my future.
