just sick

Been sick since Thursday. S. has been sick an indeterminate amount of time--at least since then, if not before and he still has some signs of illness. I am still quite sick. It started with a raging sore throat bad enough that the doctor swabbed me for strep (neg). S. had the throat issue too. Now I am super congested and it is in my chest as well. Oh, and I sound like I smoke in both cough and voice. So sexy. It sucks in and of itself, but it double-sucks because I had to cancel all sorts of shit over the weekend as a result. Annnnd, I have to take decongestants so I don't suffocate but they wire me up so much I can't sleep even though I am so, so tired. On the plus side, I've gotten a lot of work done. But dear gods, I have so much more to do.

Just whining.

Back to work while S. sleeps.
