ouch

Ouch.

Just ouch.

Tonight was one of those nights when I honestly felt like I had to put my body parts back where they belonged after dance class.

Seriously, I'm hurting.

Days like this make me feel old. Most of my classmates are half my age. Was I ever that resilient?

I am going to go hobble to the shower now.

not OLD! just out of touch with the hard dancing for a bit, ya know the kid and all...

Well, it is partly that I haven't been in this level of a class for a while. This is a particularly grueling class with a particularly demanding teacher. BUT, I have noticed that things that didn't hurt at twenty-three do indeed hurt at thirty-three. I also just notice the age gap more now. It is difficult not to feel like an old lady when surrounded by a gaggle of teens and tweens. I mean, their mommies and daddies drive them to class--I am a mommy!
