Appreciating the Larger Dancer
Tuesday, April 30 * 7 to 9 p.m.
Audre Lorde Room, Women's Building * 3543 18th Street at Valencia, San Francisco

Many people in the dance world talk about fat, weight, largeness as if they were liabilities. But maybe fat is just another trait that can be put to use in the service of art. Join Big Moves and Bay Area teachers, dancers, and choreographers as we explore body diversity and how it contributes to the aesthetics and physiological realities of dance.
This event is part of Bay Area Celebrates National Dance Week, held this year from April 26 through May 5. Visit http://www.voiceofdance.com for a complete schedule of events.
