busy weekend

ptor and I went and saw Chris Black and Ken James' new work The Adventures of Cunning and Guile at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. The show was brilliant. Absolutely amazing and really damned funny. They used every aspect of the space (including the bathrooms) which made it all the more fun and the audience was moved through the space with the performers. Parts of it were quite literally like watching live versions of old cartoons.
Chris is one of the choreograhpers Mass Movement is working with this season andkineticphoenix and I are two-thirds of the trio performing her new piece in October.
Tomorrow morning we are up early for an anti-WLS event (no, our beef is not with people who have had the surgery, but with the surgeons, in case anyone was wondering) called "Fat Fun in the Sun", though I am doubtful about how much sun we will have at 9:30am at Crissy Field. Then back home to meet up with my dad and then all three of us will be headed to "Comes a Time" a Jerry Garcia tribute concert complete with several Dead members, Trey Anastasio of Phish, and members of the String Cheese Incident.
Sunday I have MM rehearsal then hopefully some rest.
