happy he's home

My partner, M., got back from LA (well, West Hollywood actually) last night and I was very, very happy to see him. He had a good time, though he definitely has had his fill of the whole "bar scene" for a while. It was nice to just hang out with him, laughing and giggling, even if it meant that I didn't get enough sleep. It was a nice break from all the crap that has been going on in my other relationship. ::sigh::

It is M.'s birthday tomorrow and I am hoping I can come up with something nice to do for him. B. and I will be taking him to lunch on saturday, which should be good.

I am a bit stressed in general as M. and I are really low on money and I have to pay for school (which I kind of forgot about) and I have a "shut-down" week next week at work (nobody works, nobody gets paid--hey, it's better than lay-offs) and my hours are reduced week after next due to my school schedule. I am sure it will all work out, it is just stressful. I am sooooo sick of money stress. At the same time, I wouldn't trade our trip to Vancouver that we just took for the money it cost, so I guess I am getting just what I bargained for.

Well, that is all really. Still have a cold (uggh) and still need to sleep a bunch more. Looking forward to the weekend and having mixed feelings about school starting next week.

well, I better get working here as I am at work ;-P.

You're sounding more relaxed. I know shit is still happening, but it seems more manageable to you, from where I sit. How's it feel?

yeah, things are getting more manageable for me. I am less stressed and overwhelmed by everything, and I know that in a couple of weeks I will be going to school for real again (yay!!) and dancing _a lot_ , so I will be busy with lots of good things. And, things are getting better. I am a quick healer emotionally (typically)--it's just the initial pain phase is always really, really bad for me.

But, we are working things out and things will be good again.
