Photo of the Day for 01/26/16: Preening Time
There is a trail at Coyote Hills that has a tiny offshoot that opens up to one of the many marshes/ponds there, and in that marsh there is a small island. Birds congregate on that island, and in particular the pelicans hang out there a lot. I always like to stop and peek at the island and marsh to see what is happening and which birds have come to hang out that day, I shot this while on a bike ride there this past October.
