Photo of the day for 09/20/13: Flight. While we were in Vancouver last month we took a day to do Grouse Mountain which we all found quite enjoyable. In between the bears and the birds we stopped by the lumberjack which the kids thought was the most hilarious thing ever. This is from the show's finale when a performer pretending to be a random guest climbs up the poles and eventually "falls" off them and down this line (which I saw him attach himself to through my telephoto lens...most people couldn't didn't see that).

Photo of the day for 09/21/13: Sunbathing. This is one the resident bobcats at CuriOdyessy, a wildlife refuge and science museum in San Mateo. He is lazing in the sun after a meal. The blanket he is lying on has the scent of a resident fox for the enrichment of the bobcats that cannot live in the wild. Gorgeous cats they are.
