Photo of the day for 8/23/13: Hawk Stare. When we were at Grouse Mountain in the Vancouver area a couple of weeks ago we attended the Birds in Motion raptor demonstration. I loved seeing so many raptors and I captured this Harris Hawk intensely staring at the audience.

Photo of the day for 8/24/13: Rainy Bridge. Driving into Vancouver, BC in the late evening in the rain I was taken with the architecture of this bridge. I only had a minute to grab my camera and shot what I could of it through the car windows (Peter was driving).
