Photo of the day for 07/31/13: How do I eat this? I took the kids to Fairyland in Oakland in late July. While eating lunch we were visited by a number of pigeons. This delighted the kids to no end. S. wanted me to take pictures of the pigeons in the trees and I did. I captured this one who had scrounged a Cherrio. Sadly, it puts its beak through the O and never managed to eat it. It eventually fell and the pigeon abandoned the venture.
