Photo of the Day: Dusty Grasshopper. When we were in Lassen last summer we hiked the Bumpass Hell Trail. I hiked with S. and Peter with L. S. and I had time to go ahead and poke around and look at things while Peter and L. caught up to us at various times. This very dusty grasshopper is one of the things we stopped to peer at along our way to Bumpass Hell. It is very, very dusty in Lassen in the summer.
