Photo of the Day for 1/24/13

Photo of the day for today: Butterfly on a flower at Tilden. I shot this when we were out there for a Father's Day hike and hanging out with Uncle Michael back in June of 2010 (I think it was the day before Father's Day). We hung out, had a picnic near the steam trains, and did a small hike. There were lots of butterflies about that day. This was in my pre-DSLR days and I shot this with my Canon G6.

day three

Third day of dealing with a flu-stricken L. He had a fever still as of a couple of hours ago, but some Tylenol has perked him up and he is actually playing which is an improvement on yesterday which he spent pretty much entirely in my lap or Peter's lap.

No one else has it yet and I am hoping against hope that the rest of us don't get it.

I am so exhausted too. He hasn't been sleeping well, waking feverish and thirsty. He's been in bed with me and I have gotten very little sleep. I hope we are turning a corner today.
