Photo of the day for 0/11/13

Photo of the day for today: I took this a little over two years ago in the backyard of our old house. It is new growth on the photinia hedges which bordered our yard. Best I can tell by the other photos taken at the same time, S. was playing outside in the late afternoon and I pulled out my new-at-time telephoto lens to futz around. I just started the process of pulling in my pre-2011 photos into Lightroom and came across this one. I like it quite a bit.
