home sick/busy week

I got a nasty cold/sinus thing. Started Thursday night and by this morning I was in more sinus pain this morning than in any time in recent memory. Ibuprofen has helped, at least. I wasn't able to go to rehearsal which sucks (sucks less since Matilda was able to teach for me today, but still, I miss my peeps). Home now while ptor takes the kids too visit catzen. I need to force myself to just *rest* and not run around like a crazed chicken trying to clean the house.

It was a very busy week. Pride on Sunday, Monday was a park day with S.'s school friend, Tuesday L. had speech then we visited <lj user="ptor" and had lunch with him and I took the kids to a park on that side of the bay, Wednesday we went to the Children's Museum by way of light rail (which the kids loved), Thursday L. had speech and we went to the Oakland Zoo, and yesterday I was sick so all we did was go to the produce stand and re-load the fruit basket and vegetable crispers. So much good fruit right now! Got organic Rainier cherries which made me quite happy. Busy with other stuff and just trying to keep up with life and the kids.
