if they don't get it, they probably won't

It is hard to explain to someone that it is not disturbing whether or not they carried out a said activity that, but rather that they ever even entertained the idea of doing it in the first place that leaves me shaking my head in frustration and disbelief.

Just dealing with stuff, and yes, this is cryptic and has to be, but doesn't involve anyone here or anyone you likely know.
