well that explains his pissy mood and inability to sleep

Just got back from the doctor. S.'s ears are not quite infected, but both are super-full of fluid which can be very painful and uncomfortable in its own right. Not good. His nose is also really swollen and he has gone from having a runny nose to being incredibly congested with no drainage. The doctor believes that what was viral went bacterial on us and he has infected sinuses and is on his way to a double ear infection. We are treating with anitbiotics and he has to be seen next week before we fly. If we were to fly with how his ears are now it would be fairly disastrous.

Urgh.

At least this explains the violent night wakings and generally piss-poor mood. Poor guy.
