off to the surgeon
Mar. 15th, 2005 01:17 pmThe surgeon called and he wants to see me within the hour to check for infection.
ptor is coming to get me as I will be in no condition to drive after my nose and sinuses are proded and possibly scrapped. Yick. I am hoping the culprit of the pain is found.

two hours later
Mar. 15th, 2005 04:06 pmWent to the surgeon. Got poked and prodded and violated in ways that make me feel like a cat at the vet. It appears I just have an infection post-surgery. No biggie--they don't routinely do antibiotics after surgery, but some people, like me, end up with infections and need them. So, back on antibiotics. The very good news is that I am healing properly. Yay! Back to the surgeon in two weeks for a check-up.
Of course I don't have my antibiotics yet as the doc wrote them for a dose of 3 times a day and insurance won't cover that for Augmentin, so the pharmacy has to get the doctor to re-write the 'script for 2 times a day. Unamused.
