lj annoyance

My style got munged yesterday. LJ is apparently aware of the problem, but I am still unable to set it back completely to how I had to before.

I am annoyed.

Apparently, my surgery/infection-compromised immune system was happy to pick up a flu bug.

Yick.

It is a moderate flu, but no fun all the same. I am working from home today so as not to infect others in my office as the last thing we need is to have this passed around.

I am not pleased with this but I hope it passes soon.

the flu takes residence

Well, instead of feeling better I am feeling worse. This damned flu is apparently taking up residence in my body for a while. Chances of working at all tomorrow look slim as I can barely keep myself vertical.

OK. Really not happy about this. In fact, I am so frustrated I could cry or scream or both but either would take too much energy.

bah.

and in other news

ptor and I did manage to find some nice chairs for our yard yesterday. We are really looking forward to enjoying our backyard this spring/summer. And on Saturday we attacked the weeds that had tried to take over large portions of our yard and did more prep work on the flower bed. We also uncovered multiple snail cities and relocated said snails so they would not destroy anything more in our yard. The winter rains really were a boon to the weed and snail populations. The backyard is starting to look much nicer now and we are looking forward to planting our garden.
