ARGH!!

All I need is to talk to a f***king human at school to get a simple question answered (which of course is not answered anywhere on the web) and I have spent over 30 minutes trying to reach a human.

I am so frustrated!

America's programmers, engineers and sundry bit-heads have not yet figured out how much a new copyright bill will affect their livelihood.

When they do, watch for an angry Million Geek March to storm Capitol Hill.

A bill introduced this week by Sen. Fritz Hollings (D-South Carolina) would roil the electronics industry by forcibly embedding copy protection into all digital devices, from MP3 players to cell phones, fax machines, digital cameras and personal computers.

Car needs new brakes.

And a new right axel.

After discussing with the mechanic it has been determined that I can do the front brakes now, the back brakes in a week or two, and the axel in a month or two. Somehow I can work it all out that even if I have to fork over school fees tomorrow, I can do that.

I have yet to get a definitive answer from the powers that be at school regarding the feasibility of not officially being enrolled this semester and being able to enroll next semester without hassle. I only have 2 units left to take and I would prefer to pay for them in the spring, rather than right now.

The good news for today is that I talked to the program director at school and received much valueable input on how to proceed with the thesis for completion.

Regardless, I'm ready to bang my head against to desk in utter frustration.
