a fitting rememberance
Sep. 11th, 2002 12:23 pmKFOG's 10 @ 10 today was all by listener request. Dave Morey picked certain listeners (who had sent in their requests and personal stores) to talk about their feelings regarding 9/11/01 and why they pick the song they picked. It was a fitting, non-cheesy, non-media-hyped tribute and I liked it. The listener stories spanned many differnent points of view, and many different experiences. I have pasted the song list below, but it loses a bit without the personal stories/essays. If you can, listen at 10pm PDT tonight. KFOG can be listened to over the web for those non-Bay Area folk.

There is an exhibit of Jay Blakesberg's Grateful Dead photography opening at the ArtRock Gallery in October. This is definitely something dad and I need to go to. Perhaps we can get his new tattoo then as well.
