I survived my weekend, but I am so sore and tired I still feel like I am ready to collapse despite 11 hours of sleep.

I will do a proper write-up later, but in short, Ms. DeMeanor's Fat Bottom Revue (produced by Big Moves and with me as one of the featured performers) was a huge success. My solo was very well received, as were the group pieces I was in . Hell, everyone's pieces went over well, but I am quite aware that my solo kicked some major butt. We were more than sold-out and had to turn away 20 people at the door as we already had filled the audience area to overe-capacity. And it was a profitable venture organizationally and for the dancers (I made a good chunk on tips--Woo-hoo!!!). [livejournal.com profile] catzen gets special kudos with coming up with some of the more striking ideas for my costumes, and [livejournal.com profile] eeyore74 was integral to the success of the show as she managed all the volunteers and handled all the money and many, many details.

Oh yeah, Annie Sprinkle was in the front row at the show and she tipped me more than once :-) How cool is that??!!!

Sunday was San Jose Pride and I managed to drag my sore, tired self out of bed in time to march. I stayed at the festival until about 6pm, so I had a long, but fun day. I got some color (brown not red) and enjoyed being outside, although my allergies are seriously acting up as a result.

I hardly got any sleep Friday and Saturday nights and my feel hurt. Lots and lots of dancing and walking and standing over the past several days. I am not looking forward to dance classes tonight but we are too close to the show for me to miss any classes. Tap will be painful, but I will survive.

OK, off to get more work done.
