back at work
May. 28th, 2002 03:44 pmI am back at work after a very, very full weekend.
Mountain Aire was great (more details on that later) and dad and
catzen both enjoyed it as well. For now, here is my synopsis:
Spent some nice time with my parents and the dogs and cat. Betsy (the cat) has put on some weight which the vet had wanted her to do, so that is good (she had gotten a touch skinny and she is fourteen and the vet thought she should stay a bit more round)--she looks great. Chloe (the toy poodle) looks like one big fur ball currently, but she is due for her summer hair-cut shortly. Pepper (the terrier) looks cut with her new hair cut and she was a kooky as ever. Sadie (the pointer) was loving and friendly as usual and is looking ever so distinguished with her newly acquired grey fur.
I slept a lot the weekend. I had a 4 hour rehersal last night and am a tad sore from that. I am sleepy as well. The antibiotics are kicking me in the ass. I started to panic today about how much dance stuff I have to do in the next two weeks.
Ah well...bcak to work.
Mountain Aire was great (more details on that later) and dad and
- I am not sure if people should dress-up in chicken-suits at a concert where so many people are under the influence of various and sundry substances.
- The same goes for people dressed up like frogs on stilts.
- The weather was perfect.
- Dad is a new John Prine fan and is bitching and moaning that no one informed him of Prine's fabulousness before.
- John Prine is fabulous.
- Les Claypool is a genuis and Trey Anastasio continues to be great. even without the rest of Phish
- I realized though that my brain does have a limit for how much jam band music it can process in a 12 hour period.
- I am not sure if any song should have the refrain, "Stuck in my cabana, living on bananas and blow".
