It figures :-(

It figures I would get sick on my birthday. Bleah. At least it waited until after my party so I could enjoy that in health. I feel like crap. My throat is scatchy, my nose is stuffy and runny, my head and face hurt, and I am very, very tired. M. is very sick as well, but he is a bit more flu-ish than me right now. I left him shivering in bed this afternoon as I headed off to work. I wish I could be home in bed resting, but instead I am working on the Odious Data Task. Not much I can do about it. I need the money, therefore I must work (In my current employment state I do not get sick days, so if I am not here I don't get paid--no good).

Well, I should end my whine now.

A Big Thank You

I just want to extend a huge Thank You to everyone who attended my suprise party on Saturday--You all helped make it extra-special and fun for me. I loved having each and every one of you there.

And a special Thank You to eeyore74 who planned the party for me. You are wonderful and special and I am very lucky to have you in my life.
