So, I made it through yet another first day of school. Few things suck worse than having to be on campus at SJSU on the first day of instruction of fall semester. Gods, I am amazed they can cram as many of us onto that campus as they do (about 27,000 students).

So I got to school at the ungodly hour of 8:10 am for my dance class. Walked into the building and discovered the power was out (yippee!!!). Ran into my hip-hop instructor from the private studio I take at (he is a dance student at SJSU) which was cool as he was in New York all summer dancing. So chatted with him for a bit, then we were evactuated as the power was out, so I had to stand outside in my dance clothes for some time before we were let back in the building. We finally got to dance and it was good, though i feel rather out of shape. I didn't dance as much as I should have over the summer, and not at all last week, so I am really feelin' it now. I am a bit scared as I am dancing more this fall than I have ever (13 hours a week, up from my average of 9-10), and September is going to be one hell of a month. UGGGH!!

After my dance class I went to the bookstore and noted that there was not a snowball's chance in hell I was waiting in that line today. Walked over to student services, (which is now what _was_ the ground floor of the 10th st. parking garage) and waited in two lines to get only part of the information I needed. Went home, ate lunch, rested, then went back to school for my "real" class (Applied Psychometrics, the class I need for my MA) and realized that the classrooms in DMH are still *always* at least 10 degrees hotter than outside. At least they are done piledriving for the new library so the building doesn't shake anymore, and I can hear the prof. Last semester was _miserable_ due to the sounds and vibrations of the pile-drivers.

So, I made mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner which were both good.

I am getting sorer by the minute.

I need to go to bed as my program coordinator wants me to check out the General Psych Grad Seminar in the morning (8:30). I really do not want to take it as I have all my coursework done. But I need to show up and at least check it out,.

I am so glad my workplace is shutdown this week.

So, that is the story of my first day back to SJSU as a reinstated _official_ grad student (after 3 years out of the program). Hopefully I will be done by next summer and moving forward.

OK, off to bed for me.
