sicker

Even sicker today. The sinus pressure is clearly going to my ears, despite ingesting decongestants, drinking hot tea, sitting in hot showers, and irrigating my sinuses.

Yuck.

Had a horrible time sleeping last night. My mouth kept drying out since I can't breathe through my nose.

if you irrigate when you have a sinus infection, you risk pushing the infected pus into your ears. i've done that a few times. i don't irrigate when my ears are upset. no, no. bad things happen.

I try not to use too much nasal-clearing stuff like Afrin, because the nose becomes accustomed to it and starts depending on it, but when it's a choice between sleeping and Afrin or Neo-Synephrin, I use a blast before bed so that I can sleep.
