The San Francisco Chronicle called the Original Fat-Bottom Revue "a campy over-the-top romp raucously entertaining show" (6/13/02). Others call it body-image therapy with better costumes and tips. Find out foryourself what it's all about and join the crew of the nation's only all-fat burlesque show!

The Revue needs set builders, mask artists, and costume technicians for two spring productions (March 1 at Luna Sea and April 5 at somArts) and beyond.

• Set builders will be on call for the design and construction of a small amount of scenery and/or stage props, under the supervision of the technical director.


• Mask artists will produce limited number of feathered masks to decorate Mardi Gras show (March 1), under the supervision of the production coordinator. We pay for supplies.


• Costume tech will assist artistic director and production coordinator in design and construction of costumes for ensemble numbers, and may also be asked to advise solo performers in the construction of their individual costumes. Costume technicians should have access to sewing machines (sergers would be great). Plan to visit the rehearsals two weeks before each show for fittings, as well as the Thursday night tech rehearsal before each show.

Small stipends available for costume tech and set builders, but as the show grows so does our production budget! All positions start now. The Fat-Bottom Revue is co-ed and queer-friendly, and is co-produced by Big Burlesque and Big Moves.
