It's wet outside.

I mean really wet.

There are accidents on nearly every highway in the area, as well as much flooding. There is reportedly snow on HWY 9 in the Santa Cruz mountains. My shoes, socks, and legs of my pants got really wet just walking the 50 feet from the building door and my car.

I am not looking forward to the drive home tonight,

oh ick. i remember when i lived in phoenix for a year...those people cannot drive in the rain...at all. be careful out there...and by the time you get this, you'll be home and safe and dry. hope the commute wasn't too long.

My 3 pm drive down 880, without excessive traffic, was at about 35 mph most of the way.
