finally feeling OK
Aug. 18th, 2001 08:06 pmso, I promise I will respond soon to all of you who have posted such thoughtful comments regarding by trials and tribulations with the boy. Right now I have put him out of my head as much as can and am coasting along OK. I am just trying to have faith that it will all work out OK. Thankfuly, my migraine has gone away, which is very nice.
My partner is in LA this weekend livin' it up queer-style ;-P with his friend, so I have some peace and quiet. At first I was apprehensive about having so much time to myself, but I am doing well. I had a lovely date last night with J., whom I hadn't seen in quite some time, although, thechnically, we have been "dating" for nearly four years. It was very, very nice. And, I got to get a good dose of J.'s always helpful relationship realism. I can always count on him to tell me, in no uncertain terms, when I am stressing too much about issues that are not *my* issues, and when I should just try to take care of myself. So all in all it was good. J. came over today and we watched _Office Space_ (he hadn't seen it) and it was nice.
The big downside to this weekend is it appears I have caught a cold. I am very congested and very, very tired. I am guessing I may have caught it from the dork at work who came in with a raging sinus infections--feh.
Well, that is all. I am going to go rent some movies, eat some dinner and enjoy my solitude.
Thank you, again, to all of your kind and supportive words.

I hope you don't catch this cold--it sucks, and not in a good way.
